Demand Generation Marketer

TileDB is growing and building the marketing team! We are pioneering a “universal database,” a new data management system that goes beyond tables to analyze and securely share any complex data with any tool, delivering blazing performance at global scale. We are a strong scientific team with domain experts solving challenging problems in precision medicine, earth observation, machine learning and more.

As a Demand generation marketing manager, you will report to the Head of Marketing you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, building and executing full-funnel programs targeting highly technical audiences.
  • Planning, implementing and optimizing organic & paid acquisition campaigns that will increase traffic to TileDB properties, continuously optimizing on acceptable CPAs
  • Owning our rank in SERP for all relevant searches and providing actionable recommendations for organic SEO success.
  • Running marketing experiments to test messages with various audience segments.
  • Performing marketing analytics and running the marketing & sales ops, stack and reporting infrastructure.
  • Leveraging marketing analytics to make recommendations on the content mix.


In the first 45 days you will understand the TileDB story and our audience. Work closely with the Head of Marketing, CEO and technical team to come up with a plan to drive awareness with our ideal audience profile. You will understand the buyer journeys of our target personas to develop campaigns that convert and drive product adoption.


  • 3+ years experience of demand generation in B2B early-stage technology startups
  • 3+ years of experience successfully running PPC campaigns
  • Proven experience with analytics (Google Analytics, Tag Manager) and SEO tools (AHrefs, SEMrush or others)
  • Savvy with Hubspot, Intercom or Drift, and social tools
  • Creative and collaborative spark: willing to iterate and test constantly
  • Google and HubSpot certifications is a plus
  • Familiarity with developer marketing and PLG (product-led-growth) concepts is a plus.
