Rubrik is seeking a Manager, Cloud Alliances

Where you can make an impact:

  • Lead the GTM and co-selling efforts between Rubrik’s most strategic alliance partners and Rubrik’s sales, channel and field marketing teams in assigned region

  • Understand the alliance partners’ organizations and sales process to connect partner sellers with Rubrik sellers

  • Train and enable alliance partners on Rubrik value proposition and how to identify opportunities

  • Plan, lead execution of, and follow up on co-sell events within assigned region

  • Focus on lead generation and top of funnel activities to drive Partner Initiated Deals

  • Monitor and measure the performance of top alliance partnerships and execute a cadence of interactions with alliance partners’ key stakeholders

Who you are:

  • Hard working, self-driven and highly motivated individual with great team spirit and strong execution skills
  • Maintains great reputation and relationships with key partners in assigned region
  • Strong knowledge about the data management, data protection, or storage market
  • Able to present in front of large audiences and host events with and for alliance partners and end-customers
  • Able to identify and initiate deals with partners, work on deals and close them with a partner in close sync with Rubrik Account Teams

Ideal background:

  • Experience working in an alliances, channel, or business development role
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft, their GTM strategy, sales execution and Azure messaging.
  • Has done and worked out marketing plans and coordination of marketing activities
  • Has done sales and product trainings
  • Successfully run sales activities with partners
  • Worked supporting partners in identifying opportunities and closing projects
  • Worked in teams and is used to work as a team player
  • Knows how to track and report numbers, activities, and forecasting
  • Sold competitive solutions and has an extensive experience in Backup and Recovery
  • Proven ability to engage and influence partners at the highest executive levels
  • An ability and desire to operate within a matrix organization
  • Worked for or with partners like Microsoft, AWS, Google, Pure Storage, Nutanix and others and understands their value proposition and how to position a joint solution with Rubrik
