The Proposal Manager will oversee proposal operations for the suite of Kuali products. This position will be responsible for developing an overall proposal strategy that is consistent, efficient, and persuasive. The Proposal Manager will own the execution and delivery of all prospect requests. This position reports to our Sales Operations Manager.

Your duties include (but not limited to):
Direct the creation, improvement, and distribution of proposals for both solicited and unsolicited RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
Maintain proposal database to make sure all material being used remains updated to latest product versions. This content must be precise, thorough, and compliant with any legal standards internally or externally
Follow the proposal writing process to maintain a clean, precise system in place for all proposals
Interact with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Finance, and potentially other areas of the Company to create persuasive proposals that effectively and clearly position Kuali’s solutions to meet the needs of customers and prospects
Ensure all content provider author/task assignments are identified, assigned, and delivered on time
Create draft with precise, complete, and approved content that meets all technical and business proposal requirements
Facilitate all aspects of project management for proposals, from requirements documentation, to solution definition, content provider identification, project planning, meeting facilitation, draft development, and final proposal production and delivery
Establish and use capacity mapping system to forecast resource needs. Track hours spent on each proposal to assist with resource forecasting
Manage and support compliance with processes and ensure they align with upper management’s overall goals for the organization
Manage several proposals simultaneously in a relatively high volume and often short turnaround atmosphere
Contribute to a productive, positive team culture. You believe that teamwork is crucial to your success. You have the ability to partner closely with SMEs and develop efficient processes that reduce the current time commitment of SMEs

Have an APMP Certification (a plus)
