Kuali is hiring a marketing director to help us connect with the higher education community. Responsible for product marketing, our website, PR, and Brand, this role reports to the chief operating officer and works closely with the peer-director of demand generation, and a talented group of marketing, sales, and product professionals.

What you'll be responsible for

You will be responsible for contributing to Kuali's lead and revenue pipeline through effective management of the company brand and website, and by leading the team to utilize optimal strategies for messaging, content, and campaigns that drive awareness, increase conversion rates, expand current customer engagement, and maintain strong customer retention. You will work closely with your peer director in demand generation, product & content marketers, events staff, sales, product managers and designers, and our customers and prospective customers across five business lines.

We’re looking for a curious, enthusiastic, empathetic marketer to develop strategy for, and lead the team’s product marketing work; the evolution of our website; press, analyst, and influencer relationships, and the effective use and evolution of our brand. You’ll solve problems, advocate for customers and prospective customers, and contribute to a team culture built on trust and mutual respect. As a marketing director here, you’ll have a significant impact on what we do and how we do it.

  • have 3+ years experience in a marketing leadership role, and at least 8-10 years total marketing or related professional experience.

  • have experience deploying best practices for B2B marketing across all stages of the buyer journey.

  • know the ins & outs of digital marketing.

  • solve problems with resourcefulness and creativity.

  • know your stuff. You can think your way through complex issues, have a keen eye for details, and talk about it all confidently, accurately, and honestly.

  • are curious, self-motivated, and persistent in your thirst for knowledge and growth in your craft. You generously share your discoveries with others.
