Product Project Manager

iland is looking for an experienced Product Project Manager to organize and coordinate projects specific to Product Management releases. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting Product Managers and other teams in ways that promote successful product and service releases. This is a full-time position based in the United States.


  • Develop and document technical design specifications in collaboration with the Product Managers that serve as user stories within the SDLC process
  • Coordinate and execute inter-departmental activities and tasks that are part of the SDLC and Product Release processes with guidance from the Product Managers
  • Plan and execute product sunsets (End-of-Sale, End-of-Life, deprecating documentation, and managing comms with guidance from the Product Managers)
  • Assist Product Managers on the UAT (User Acceptance Test) process in regards to: identifying beta testers, organizing and scheduling tests, tracking and documenting test results
  • Ensure that conflicting priorities or outstanding items are brought into the open and resolved or escalated promptly to the Product Managers or the appropriate stakeholders
  • Plan and execute data analysis on the usage, adoption of our proprietary management console and knowledgebase article consumption to drive enhancement efforts
  • Plan and execute data analysis on support ticket information to detect trends on each Product Line that helps drive new feature releases or creation of supporting documentation
  • Work with cross functional teams to interpret data analysis on product resource usage, identifying outliers that qualify for special data processing (i.e., burst exemptions, dual-storage profile environments, version compatibility, etc.)
  • Work with the Business Operations team to perform Quality Assurance and document Internal Product Test Environments, such as test CRM contracts and Cloud Computing environments
  • All other duties as assigned


The following skills represent the minimum requirements to be considered for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT Business Administration, Information Systems Management, or a related study
  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst for technology companies
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization
  • Firm understanding of the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements
  • Previous software development experience
  • Demonstrated project delivery of cross-functional projects that deliver business outcomes

  • Proficient in Issue & Project Tracking Software (Atlassian Jira preferrably), its configuration, dashboards, navigation and use

  • Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to keep multiple groups on the same page
