iland is experiencing tremendous customer growth and is looking to expand the Account Management team based in London. We are looking for a dynamic bilingual Account Manager to grow and manage a territory of existing customer accounts. Preferred candidates will have at least three years of past experience in account management in one of the following fields: cloud infrastructure, IT Services, Managed Services, SaaS, or virtualization software. Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required in English and French or Dutch.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong bond with new and existing accounts within your assigned territory
  • Handle all escalations, such as billing or support issues that are not resolved through normal channels, for your assigned accounts
  • Ensure frequent contact with customer base to uncover new opportunities and encourage upgrades or other service offerings
  • Provide quotes and process upgrades
  • Schedule appointments with locally-based outside sales team for product demos and to generate interest in additional iland service offerings
  • Track expiring accounts and ensure all accounts are renewed upon expiration
  • Ensure contacts with all assigned accounts are kept updated in Salesforce
  • Educate and evangelise iland products to new contacts added to accounts
  • Escalate complex account issues to management for speedy resolution
  • Schedule and perform online presentations and demonstrations for existing accounts
  • Manage and track all sales activities within Salesforce

Requirements

  • University degree required
  • 3+ years of sales and account management experience in IT software or services
  • Bilingual (English, French and/or Dutch)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Ideal candidate is dynamic, adaptable, and proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; customer service skills are key
  • Experience with cloud services, VMware and virtualization
