Technical UX Designer

FormAssembly is looking for an experienced Technical UX Designer to join our growing and dynamic Product Team!

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, execution, and iteration of FormAssembly features
  • Translate business goals and user needs into user flows, journey maps, lo-fi mockups and polished prototypes, both for desktop and mobile
  • Collaborate with engineering to incorporate technical requirements into design deliverables that are responsive, reusable and accessible
  • Establish and build on a consistent design language and component library and codify best practices and standards, working closely with other designers
  • Ensure platform interfaces are robust and friendly in the face of user and input errors
  • Deliver designs from beginning to end, testing and iterating as the product evolves and more data is gathered


Required Qualifications & Proficiencies

  • 5 + years experience
  • UI/UX design, prototyping, testing and iteration (including sketch, abstract, Figma, inVision)
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills
  • Experience or knowledge with front-end frameworks such as React and vue.js and general coding standards
  • Experience or knowledge of APIs, connectors and integrators functionality
  • Experience of knowledge in understand clients data lifecycle and it fits into an application
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System
  • Experience with design patterns and best design practices for responsive web applications
  • Experience with agile software delivery and working in rapid delivery cycles
  • Self-initiative, works well in a remote/virtual team environment with fast iteration cycles
  • SaaS design experience
  • Experience working remotely
  • *English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications & Proficiencies

  • Familiarity with salesforce ecosystem
  • Background in development/ technical proficiency
  • Experience building design systems
