Faithlife is seeking a best in class Director of People Operations to join our newly created People Team. You will play a strong leadership role supporting business needs and be a key contributor to the broader People strategy. Enabling and scaling our People related strategies, processes, and practices and driving exceptional execution is critical to our future success. Like many of our leaders, we are looking for a player/coach – somebody who is interested in providing hands-on value and expertise, as well as managing their team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Build and implement our people operations strategy including change management practices

• HCM Technology and Programs including total rewards, data insights, and ongoing analytics

• Effectively scale our people processes including self-service, automation, tools, and technology

• Partner with line management and the People Team to ensure optimal operational support

• Implement innovative solutions to increase efficiency and enhance the employee experience

• Guide a best-in-class employee life cycle experience from first impressions at on-boarding to every touch point an employee has with the people function

• Own core programs such as total rewards, onboarding, and off-boarding operations, compliance, etc.

• Facilitate optimal staff performance and effectiveness

• Ensure healthy operations that best support our ongoing amazing culture and important mission

• Manage execution of competing priorities; balancing short-term tactical implementation with longer-term strategic goals

• Provide accurate, quality guidance to all staff and leaders that optimizes positive results

Requirements

Your skills, background and knowledge typically includes:

• Deep knowledge of effective People practices and processes including various HR functional areas

• Change agent - someone who initiates and implements continuous improvements while effectively facilitating and enabling others

• Skilled at building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization

• Can move fluidly between tactical execution and strategic thinking

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Comfort with ambiguity and a skill for finding out what needs to be done and then effectively executing

• Prior leadership experience with a passion for developing and growing others

• A sense of urgency combined with a sense of humor
