We’re looking for a product manager who is excited to bring their passion and skills to help 1Password make users and customers more secure online. You are eager to apply your energy, curiosity and experience to bring together the cross-functional team to solve customer and business problems and drive product development from customer research to marketing to sales and back again. In this role you will have the opportunity to push the success of 1Password, our products and our customers to new horizons.

You must be highly motivated, eager to learn, self-driven, and passionate about the privacy and security of users and customers. Your obsession with discovering and solving the most urgent and pervasive customer problems helps you and your team to go beyond what others might view as a limit.

This is a Remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience owning a product or a set of features and being responsible for its ultimate success.
  • Track record of continuously shipping and improving software and driving business impact through the feature/product you owned.
  • Exceptional ownership mindset with action-bias, and a focus on figuring out and taking the next best-step to push execution forward. 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and bring together different teams and stakeholders to drive forward, solve problems and remove roadblocks.
  • Obsession with customer problems driven by a perpetual curiosity. 
  • Represent the voice of the customer to drive clarity and action.
  • Experience working directly with customers and customer-facing teams to discover pervasive and important customer problems, understand and map details and context around those, fleshing out use cases and creating user stories.
  • Analytical skills – you’re metrics-driven and comfortable finding and digging into data to uncover insights.
  • Familiarity with (ideally first-hand experience) agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc).
  • Background and experience in the fields of user privacy, security, identity and access management are a plus.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience training internal teams as part of bringing products to market, particularly the sales, support and customer success teams.
